GARDEN STATE PAINT HORSE CLUB SCHOLARSHIP


The GSPHC Scholarship fund promotes the educational and social growth of young horseman and women by awarding annual scholarships.  This program is open to any GSPHC member who has been actively involved in the programs and shows at the Garden State Paint Horse Club.


Applications must be postmarked by June 1st of the awarding Year.

  • Grants of $500.00 per year are available for students seeking to further their education either at a four-year college or at an equine related vocational training school
  • Applicant must be a GSPHC member in good standing and involved in horse activity using a Paint Horse or contributing actively to the GSPHC for one year prior to the time of application.
  • Applicant must be a high school graduate or have received a GED
  • This scholarship does not have any age restrictions
  • The application must be postmarked no later than June 1st
  • All applications must be accompanied with a current photograph
  • Students awarded the scholarship may ONLY WIN ONCE (changed as of 1-1-18)  One with the GSPHC and one with the GSPHYC.  Please contact us if you have any questions.
  • Scholarship funds will be paid directly to the institution and will not be issued to the student or their family
  • All applications become the property of the Garden State Paint Horse Club
  • All information will be held in strictest confidence by the Review Committee
  • The GSPHC Scholarship will be awarded at the July Jubilee show.

PLEASE NOTE!!!  THE GSPHC PARENT CLUB awards one scholarship annually along.  Also, the GSPHYC awards one scholarship annually.  (If you have previously won a scholarship with the parent club, you should also apply for a scholarship from the GSPHYC group and visa-versa.)

_____  List all GSPHC and other horse related activities

_____  Provide a college transcript if applicable
